Wiley Jozef Wolfe is an award-winning Canadian wildlife photographer whose work is rooted in patience, curiosity, and time spent in wild places. He began photographing wildlife in 2011 while working as a tour guide in the Canadian Rockies, where long days in the mountains first sparked his fascination with observing and documenting animals in their natural environments.
Wolfe is drawn as much to the journey as the image itself—countless hours wandering through the backcountry, waiting quietly for the fleeting moments he feels honoured to witness. His photography aims to create a bond between the animal and the human viewer, grounded in the belief that the more people understand wildlife, the more they will want to protect it.
His work has been featured in exhibitions and displays including the Far North Photo Festival, Wildlife Rescue Association of BC calendar, Wildlife in Focus Judge's Choice Award, The Kurt Vonnegut Literary Journal, The Gallery on 47th in Yellowknife, NWT Brewing in Yellowknife, The Mini Makerspace in Whitehorse, and City of Fernie Tourism.
